This is a great song by DC Talk. I guess they really knew how to hit the nail on the head, because this is definitely how I feel all the time. "...oh Lord be my light, and be my salvation, cause all I want is to be in the light."
:) I remember when I first heard this song. I pretty much only like the chorus because the beginning of the song is slurry and weird! :D but yes, I definitely agree my sweet Mary Ellen!
haha... yeah it is a different style. =) I've been trying to get out of some bad music habits and trying to listen to some more edifying music. Are there any good Christian artists or other bands that you'd recommend?!! I know you've listened to "good" music a lot longer than I have.....
Mm! I applaud you for Maryellie! ;) It can be difficult to make that switch over (at first) then it will be easier as your convictions get larger I think. Of course, that is the same for all of us. We all have our struggles especially in different areas. :)
People I would recommend.. well I listen to a lot of Kari Jobe, Sara Groves, Robin Mark (He is Irish~!), Klaus, Sovereign Grace Music, Watermark, Red Mountain Church has a CD called Help My Unbelief which is pretty unique sounding.., I have a couple songs from Melissa Greene, Keith and Kristyn Getty, Kathryn Scott, Common Heart, New Irish Hymns 3- incarnation CD, Indeliable Grace Music, Christy Nockels, and the CD Glory Revealed 2 the Word of God in Worship.
Hopefully there should be something in there that you enjoy :)
P.S. I did not organize the names in the way I most enjoy them, I like them all very much!
