Getting Ready

Today is like the calm before the storm. If there weren't buds on the trees I could easily think it to be Fall. The grass is barely green and there are no leaves on the trees... the shrubs and landscape are withered and brown still. But alas it is Spring! There are robins about now and the geese are flying South once more. The clouds are no longer dull, thin and gray, but rather are dark blue and heavy with rain.

Tomorrow my Grandma D. is arriving for her usual visit she always makes around Easter. Saturday, is also a big day... my cousin Charlene is having a baby shower. Her baby Caleb is already born so it will be an extra exciting shower since we'll all get to hold the baby as well! Also on Saturday is the long awaited Viennese Ball! I am super excited about that. I'll get to stroll about in a royal court with all of my noble knights and ladies. ;) No, not really, but it will be fun to get all dressed up and fancy with my dear friends! =D I'm especially looking forward to spending time with Courtney and Kacey!!!

Us gals have our dresses picked out, and shoes to wear and we all decided it would be fun to wear opera gloves!!! I ordered 4 pairs of black gloves on amazon and in order to get them here on time I had to consent to use a free trial of some sort of special membership deal. The trick is to remember to opt out of it in a month so I don't have to pay a fee of 75 dollars! Eeeks! But it was the only way to get the gloves in two days. ;) The things we do for vanity and fun. *sigh*

Only two days left to go. I cannot wait!!!

What a fabulous weekend!!!! Thank you so much for letting me lodge with you for the weekend, and for your idea in the first place to change my work day! Worked out great!! the ball was SO much fun! Thanks for ordering the gloves too.. They were so elegant and pretty! The whole night was a ball (literally and figuratively)! Tehe! Now don't forget to opt out of that membership deal soon! I had lots of fun talking with you about all sorts of things under the sun, as well as talking with your parents. I believe it has made me a tad bit more knowledgeable (yay!). P.S. It would be fun to take some pictures on that giant gravel road you zoomed down. :) Thanks for being a lovely friend! I hope the time between when I see you again isn't too lengthy! Stay amazing dancing queen! <3
