Like a Box of Chocolates

Well life has been rather wild lately. I just spent the last two days helping out at Jed and Kendra's getting it ready for when they bring the baby home (which was tonight btw). And then I spent almost all weekend at the Hospital while Kendra was in labor. I didn't actually get to see the baby till Sunday after church... they named her Meadow Elizabeth. She was 7 lb. 15 oz. and 21 inches long and is absolutely adorable!! =D So soft and kissable. ;) I don't see how guys can resist the urge.. lol

I feel like I'm behind with all of my school and piano lessons and just all of life. I need to catch up. It's even harder now though because it's warm outside most of the time and that presents a whole new list of things to do. We have a really big garden to get ready... I hope we don't actually plant all of it cause that's a REALLY lot of garden to deal with. =/ That means a lot of watering, a lot of weeding, and a serous sunburn. ;)

I really think this summer is going to be a blast... Sandy's graduation party, and KC's... and all the Second Saturdays (I'm crossing my fingers.. I hope we have them)!!! a n d. . . mowing the lawn. There's just something about making a whole lawn of grass cut and trim... all the lines going in the same direction. Then there's the smell of the freshly cut grass. Yes, summer is good.

I have so many hopes and dreams for the future. So much ambition... I wish I could change things/people/myself... just make everything perfect, but I can't. So I am also learning patients and contentedness. Wait... wait.... and some more time goes by as I wait. I have a lot of time.
